So, I'm not really that big on LJ, am I? But tonight I remembered something a friend of mine said a while back. (And when I say "a while back" I mean "several months ago".) Basically, it was something to the effect of "well, you don't use it much, so why not turn it into an iconing journal, to have some use for it?". And, well, she's right. So, that's what I'm going to try to do - though I make no promises this will lead to me posting more. ^_~
Here are some (read: a lot) of icons I've made in the past. (Note that not all may be LJ-friendly, as I wasn't really thinking about that when I made them. If you'd like to adopt one, and find out that it's too large, prod me and I'll make a smaller version. Because, yes, they're totally snagable if anyone'd like them, just credit me. ^_^)
Aaaand, that's about it from me, for the moment. Ta.

Earlier today I found my note book from last year's creative writing course, and as I happen to find some of these pretty good still, I figured I'd post them here. They're in Swedish, though, so I'm afraid most of you won't understand them. Unless I translate them. Which I might. :-P
Not much else going on right now, on summer vacation. Will try to post a real post sometime soon again. Hopefully.

Yep, broke 20k sometime about 24 hours ago. I am happy. Happy, I say!

Uhm, don't have much else to say than that. Will be more eloquent at a later point, I promise. :-P
Got that from mirendabeth
, who is very cool. I don't generally post memes and quiz results in my blog, but that one was just funny. So there. :-P
My daily word count is up to 979 words, which is at least better than yesterday. Also, I'm now writing the mythology of my world, which is very fun, but requires me to get that mythological tone down, which is probably why it doesn't go too quickly. Oh well. It's fun anyway. As I mentioned yesterday, it's more about power vs balance than good vs evil - in fact both sides worked together to form the world, and then they didn't have anything against eachother... it's just something that has grown to be, probably because of humans.
Anyway, not much else to say. Ahwell. Going to socialise tomorrow! Shock and horror! ^_~

Yeah, pretty sure I've run into a wall in my writings. I wrote less than 500 words today. Bah.

On the plus side, I got X to read my story so far and give me her ideas about what'd happen next (she guessed right on the subplots I didn't actually write out in there, so... I'll have to hide them a bit better, eventually)... anyway, I think I have some ideas now, so I just have to remember to use them. Hopefully I -will- remember to do that, and all will be well with the world. :P
Anyway, because I'm such an avid doller, I had to include this one. It's one of the two gods that's been in my story so far. I would go find the description I wrote of her, but it's silly, so you'll just have to deal with it.
....in fact, right after I wrote that, I went back to read the description I wrote of her, and it's absolutely horrible. I feel ashamed now. Waah. But I refuse to edit it now. I'll do that once the story's done, and that's when I will fill in the plotholes, too.
So, this god is actually a godess, and the name I call her by in my story is Day. Because I'm very good at making up names on the spot, clearly. Anyway, it works within the story - it's part of who she is, and though she may have other names, it's one of the easiest to understand. Her companion is Night, so they're very nice and balanced there.
I think I've decided that the "bad" gods aren't actually going to be dark gods with a thirst for baby-blood and a penchant for tentacle rape, but actually more normal gods who just want to be the strongest, without understanding that balance is needed or else the entire world'll go KABOOM (I'm very eloquent at 7 in the morning)... So, the "other" (yeah, that term works better than "bad") gods are the four elements. At least this is what I think right now, I might of course change my mind when I get to the point of writing them. Anyway, Night and Day vs Fire, Water, Earth and Wind seems like it'd be balanced... at least as far as I'm concerned.
I made the doll in photoshop. I'm actually not too fond of it, and still much prefer to use paint, but, yeah. I'm practising my photoshopping skills in hopes of getting better... so, yeah.
The base is from if looks could kill.
Oh, and while I'm talking about dolls and such anyway, here's my doll-site, in case anyone's interested. Haven't updated in some week or so, and the layout is terribly simple, but it works, at least.
Until next time!
So, yeah, I friends-protected that one entry that contains a snip from my story, but I don't know if it'll make a huge difference. Hmhm. Oh well.

Today has been pretty slow as far as my writing's concerned - less than 1k. Then again, considering my current goal is 15k, that's pretty alright.
I feel like I want to doll the gods I made up, though. But despite that they might've gotten the most descriptive descriptions in the story so far, I'm not sure I could do it. Oh well. Perhaps I'll try with elouai.
Life in general is uneventful. Have a time at the dentist's tomorrow, and have a "let's do something" on wednesday. Other than that, though, I'm free to do whatever I want - which at this point is write. I'm having so very much fun with my story, even though I constantly run into walls and go "and now what?". That's why word wars are good, though - you just keep writing and make stuff up, and then... voila!
I feel like I want to post some more snips here, but I don't know what I should post. So maybe I'll just not post anything more, yet. Yeah, that works.
I'm hungry. Poor poor me.
Stole this from ladyshanae. ^_^
